About
Having recently been employed by the Inforce Foundation I am currently working as Project Manager for the Rwanda Project, my responsibilities include the manufacture of a transportable Anthropological Unit which will be situated in Rwanda for the curation and preservation of the victims of the 1994 Genocide and the commissioning of the laboratory in Rwanda. Once in country I will be a member of the Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology Team - conducting anthropological investigations and contributing to the preservation of the memory of the Genocide.
I recently presented my Masters Thesis titled "The Application of In Situ Reflectance Spectroscopy for the Detection of Mass Graves" at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences 63rd Conference in Chicago and at the BAHID Annual Conference on the 9th April 2011 in Manchester. I am hoping to take this research out to Rwanda to further assess it's potential.
I am currently based in the UK, however, throughout the rest of this year I will be working in both Rwanda and the UK.
My individual goal is to continue to build my skills base and to make a valid contribution to the preservation of the memory of Genocide in Rwanda in conjunction with the Inforce Foundation and the CNLG.
